Coach to Cardiff on October 11th

Hafod Environmental Group will be taking a coach to Cardiff to lobby Carwyn Jones at the Welsh Assembly on Wednesday 11th October, leaving from outside the shop on Bangor Road, Johnstown at 6.45am. For more information, or to book your place, call 01978 841335.

Because of a football match, it won't be possible to spend all day in Cardiff (or we might get stuck there!) Please bring food to keep you going on the coach on the way down as we won't have time to stop for a meal en route. We should be in Cardiff before midday. Contributions welcome towards the cost of the coach, whether you're able to come along or not.

Hi All,
I won't be going to Cardiff, but I hope members don't allow the protest to be reduced to a photoshoot for gravy train specialists Martyn Jones and Karen Sinclair.
It's a pity that the Hafod group even have to associate with these two.
Both are members of the labour party and in my opinion are therefore destitute of any christian morality.Anybody who could belong to a political party that deliberately bombed a city full of people, murdering kids and destroying schools and hostpitals, should be stripped of public office, and their "concern" about the landfil or other environmental issues just stinks of hypocracy.
The Landfil site is a peoples movement,New Labours only concern in it is cynical vote grabbing come the May elections.
