Acceptable or unacceptable?

This email was sent last week to Mr Allan (managing director of MWH), local politicians and officers of WCBC and Environment Agency Wales.

The attached photographs were taken this morning, 02/08/07, outside Hafod landfill site and show large quantities of wet clay strewn all over the B5426 outside the landfill gates.

Please reply to this email indicating if you personally think this amount of debris on the road is acceptable or not acceptable.

If you do not respond by Wednesday 08/08/07 I will assume you regard the situation as acceptable.

The responses will be posted here and on www.hafodaction.org.uk shortly!

Is that it? All the build up for that. I thought it was going to be something exciting.

Take a walk over the A483 and have a look the other side. It is worse than outside Hafod. Have you written to everybody about the farmer? I am not getting at him as he has a job to do like everybody else but you can't have different rules for different people.

The accident rates for the last year speak for themselves.

Dull thanks for your contribution but frankly it counts for nothing! Your boss and the officials have made their decision and those are the ones that count. Lets be realistic the only decision you need to make is where to eat your sandwiches. Will it be on the slip road of the landfill or in a lay-by on the A483?

Not exactly a decision likely to interested anyone is it?

That was exactly the sort of response that shows what an arse you are.

You have such a short memory. You never asked my boss anything but I can tell you that he has read the blog and so has his boss and they know which comments are mine. The people who have not replied have not done so because they are answering your question. It is just that you are not worth their time being wasted when they have more important things to do. Like walking the dog or watching Emmerdale.

Remember to stand on the correct side of the signs on the mornings that the roads are closed so that the dumpers can cross unhindered. We wouldn't want an accident on Bangor Road would we?

It must be that short memory of yours but i don't think you are a position to talk about road safety after the antics last year.

What a sad bunch of NIMBY busy bodies you are. You really must have very sad boring lives to go to all this bother.

It's a bit of mud on the road. Get over it.

I guess one thing you all successfully managed to achieve was to close Dennis ruabon tile factory down by stopping the clay been used for tile manufacturing, shame how the area could do with employment now for the younger generations coming through like it did for over 100 years, well done you have created a bigger eye sore now by the looks of the factory
