Discuss!

We have five layers of democracy (Care to share details of your expenses anyone?), a billion pound plus Environment Agency and a local Planning Department which in 2006/07 cost us over £1.5 million!

How the hell have we ended up with this - somebody in public life has taken their eye off the ball somewhere!

Or our Councillors were too busy counting their (considerable) expenses, the more Senior Politicians making sure nobody was telling little porkies about them and security guards and Isted, Kellett et al were taking care not to get caught in bed with MWH (Metaphorically of course !) Meanwhile the EA were simply not doing what they are paid a billion pound a year to do!

And the winner of a fifteen year landfill site just twenty five metres from homes and less than 250 metres from a village school is ... the mugs that pay for you all!

250m from a school?

You need a new tape measure unless there is another landfill in the middle of Nant park

At their closest points the landfill site and Johnstown Junior School field are less than 250metres apart - FACT!

I don't know about needing a new tape measure but you clearly need a new Ten & Units Abacus to count your brain cells!

And Ian Lucas and Martyn Jones are more concerned about whether English should be used before Welsh for tannoy announcements on railway stations.

They should attend to the abysmal waste recycling record in the U K in general instead of wasting public money in gaining cheap publicity in the media.

What a pathetic pair of idiots!

Don't mention railways or David Bithell will be joining them! And what has happened to Sinclair's big file - has it gone to landfill?

No wonder you are p*****g in the wind when clowns like that are stating so called facts

What was all the fuss about today?

I could see the blokes watching the dumpers across the road safely (more than Dennis Ruabon did for years) but there was some idiot without a highviz jacket, holding a goat dressed as a school girl, trying to get cars to cross infront of them.

Now if that isn't dangerous, what is?

The whole landfill thing is just another example of how local and national politicians are simply greasing the wheels of a political system that is controlled by big business.
You have heard nothing from Sinclair since the mugs voted her back in...you won't she's laughing her socks off at the thought of another term in a very lucrative office.
As for Martyn Jones...he is too busy giving dicky bow instructions and emulating an upper class dandy to indulge in such low life concerns as hafod.
And Dave Bithell's transformation from mild lefty to,council expenses collector is almost complete...expect nothing from him.

This is what you get I suppose in a system that likes to label itself as a democracy but in reality is every bit a dictatorship.
And what of political parties.A lot of people had pinned their hopes on Plaid. But their support for Labour in the assembly has revealed exactly the nature of the low life scum who pervade as liberators of Wales and confirmed once and for all that Plaid is just another party machine full of self interested petty middle class types who put their own careers before anything else.
God help Wales with Plaid at the Helm.
If I was Mersey Waste I would rest easy in my bed knowing that the right palms are available for greasing and the right politicians are in place.
The people will never learn..everything changes but everything remains the same...sadly.

You don't need to sign your posts hafodblogger. We know your nick name is idiot. We also know you drink too much and can type 'names of posh wine' on google.
Like I said before, I save my posts ready for when you delete.
It has gone very political on here with the moniority being very disrespectful of elected representatives who were voted in by the majority after Hafod was opened. Why is that then?
