Hafod Quarry
Campaigning to stop five Liverpool councils (or anyone else, including Wrexham) dumping their waste in Hafod Quarry for the next generation. Landfilling at Hafod is not acceptable, the tip is right next to houses and MWH is relying on obsolete planning permission. Read on... N.B. Because we can get away with whatever we like - a week for Lawrence in the villa and the road is ours!
Hi Rob, is the third week of August still free? Don't worry about the road sweeping - keep me sweet and I'll take care of everything, Cheers, Lawrie xxx
You're not getting this are you Dull ... ONLY genuine, bona fide quotes from Rob Alan and Lawrie Isted (as per above, thanks Gents!)are allowed on this post!
Third week in August is fine.
How is my Planning Application coming along Lawrie?
Cheers,
Bob x
Hi Lawrie,
Got a small problem on the day you fly out there. You don't mind topping and tailing with Gerry for one night do you? I doubt there's anything to worry about as you're the wrong sex and ....
Steady Rob!
I wasn't going to say a thing - just he's not a great fan of little beards!
Let me know,
Bob x
Thanks for this very useful insight into the dynamics (thats f***** you hasn't it Dull!) of your relationship but if we could get back to the question in hand-
Why are members of the public forced to queue up behind the MWH sweeper all day?
PS Yes, Lawrie, I'm sure there will be a clean towel for you!
What’s going on here?
Well, well, well Blogger!
Either we've stumbled across a sordid little web chat or Mark Griffiths has stopped being Dull (aka Dull that is, not dull per se!) and has started to impersonate the Big Chief - well, if he's leaving anyway and they did treat him very badly over the pollution case. The poor bugger was sent down the river quicker than a lagoon of leachate at the weekend!
I know we're waiting for Bob and Lawrie to address the real issue but in the meantime I stumbled across the following question in the FAQ section of a landfill information website -
Q3 What is landfill?
A. Landfill is any form of waste tip, ranging from an uncontrolled rubbish "dump", to a full "containment" site engineered to high standards to protect the environment.
And we all know which we've ended up with!
Lawrie? Bob?
C'mon Dull - you've got an hour or two! Make it good and we might keep it on for you!
Show some imagination man!
The photo shows 6 vehicles plus the road sweeper.
Where is the chaos?
