Pooch Breaches Hafod Security

Despite reassurances from ‘our’ politicians, the Environment Agency and Murky Waste that security the Hafod Landfill Site would be improved it was again breeched last night. The intrepid intruder managed to sneak on site unnoticed and remain there all night, escaping the attention of the state of the art video monitoring system.

When a waste monkey opened the gate this morning the dastardly intruder made his bid for freedom; he is currently being debugged by the protest group whilst enjoying a nice plate of Lincolnshire Sausages.

Well done Pooch, you’re a star.

It's a joke!

(Well, the dog being locked in the landfill is true but to the best of our knowledge he wasn't bugged and quite from where do you think we have a ready cooked supply of Lincolnshire sausages to feed a dog that might just pop out of the landfill site!)

You really must do something about your English, it's getting worse!

Sorry but I was born in Wales, live in Wales carrying Welsh waste to Hafod. (sometimes) Also carrying Welsh waste to England but rarely carrying English waste to Wales.
I suggest you do a bit more research which will show that the sorts of waste going to England from Wales is far worse than what is going in Hafod from both sides of the border.

And little red riding hood went to see grandma....

Leave out the fairy tales.

Hyprocrisy again and again. Everybody in Wrexham is using Hafod. If they have waste, no matter how much they recycle, if they have non-recyclable waste they are using Hafod Landfill. That includes commercial, domectic and industrial. Get used to it. get over it.

It is you who is telling fariy tales and distorting the facts.

1.Not everyone in Wrexham is using Hafod.

2.The privateer wagons, some in an unstable condition deliver refuse to Hafod for a quick profit.
( Inland Revenue take note.)

3.If you had done your homework you would have known that commercial, domeStic and industrial waste can be recycled, the problem is that the fat cats can make a greater profit from landfill rather than deal with the issue in a proper manner.

The government, assembly and local councils choose to bury their heads in the sand and allow this practise to continue, we as taxpayers have to ask Why?

If that is true you will be able to tell me why Recyclo ( the state of the art facility in Sandycroft) is closed for business? Why WRG have not completed the purchase of Recyclo?

Allow me.

The EA have shut the place down because they have a great big pile of waste tipped outside which needs landfilling. It cannot be recycled and there has not been enough profit from Recycling to pay for disposal.
Recyclo used to take in waste from our recycling parks. They use Pen Y Bont and Hafod for disposal. So yes, everybody is using Hafod.

Oh wise one, we love it when you're right!

No one could possibily dispute what you have stated about Recyclo but the fact remains:- there has not been enough profit from Recycling to pay for disposal.

That sugguests that the plant, (to quote the terminoligy of today) is not fit for purpose which means that the correct strategy is not in place to deal with the great big pile of waste you refer to.
We are paying in total tax revenue approximatly 47% of our income to the exchequer and billions have been wasted on war as well as supporting organisations such as the Packaging Manufacturing Industry which has 20 M.P's on it's group one of whom is Ian Lucas M.P.
So please don't insult everyones intelligence by insinuating that land fill is the answer.
Public money is available to deal with the waste that governments have permitted business to create over many years for the sake of their God Profit.
If we lived in a just society business would have to pay, but business is government and government is business.

Why else do you think the politicians are silent on this issue?

At Sunday, September 30, 2007 9:44:00 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I agree that landfill is not the answer but the consumer is as much to blame as business because of the way we live and products we use.
If you wheel that black bin up to the kerb you are as guilty as anybody.

And who created the packaging in the first place?
The main culprits: Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's.
Don't blame the people it is up to business as the agents of government to show an example.
(Check how many politicians have their nose in the supermarket business trough.)

As for the comment about where Mr Morris gets his information from, the information is available if you have the intelligence to find it.
He may be referring to rubbish but what he is stating is not a load of rubbish as you have so crudely put it.

You're not getting this are you - you have latched on to three of the protest group and systematically refer to them by name, most often with complete rubbish.
Your nonsensical comments get deleted, and always will. Be brave, be men and post your real identities and your daftness can stay – any fool (and you do it well!) can post about other individuals as ANON, where are the real men of the waste industry?
There are now six Hafod Bloggers and we will protect the good name of the protesters unless and until you have the guts to show yourselves, it really is up to you guys ... men or mice?

The protest has no good name. Unless you count petty criminals or thugs. That is why I shall remain annon.

Rest assured there are no petty criminals or thugs among the protest group, they are just ordinary members of the council tax paying community who have been ignored by the majority of the politicians.
It is obvious that M W H employees past and present together with the privateer drivers are slowly but surely tightening the noose around their necks with the comments they are making.

Why is it that only the sad old gits are left on the gate these days? Has coward finally given up or has the fuel prices and road block made it too expensive to get there on a council wage.

Why is it that only the saddest of waste monkey's still post on here these days!

Grow up - we have moved on a little, thinking outside the box so to speak whilst you are still driving your little shit carts around doing EXACTLY what you are told. Waste slaves!

(Although I must congratulate you - have you been having extra lessons? No spelling mistakes, general punctuation and no subject verb disagreements (more by luck than judgement that one I suspect) but hey, you're coming on! Just be careful with question marks, you need one at the end!
