This can’t be right can it?

Not even Dull and Co can defend sending a man to clean an arterial road with a domestic dust pan and brush, can they?

Dull stop changing the subject you fool, do you think sending a man to clean an arterial (oh sorry thicko arterial means main) trunk road with a domestic dust pan right or wrong?

I don't think that he was 'sent' by MWH with a dust pan and brush.
I am only guessing but I think the sweeper company is contracted to keep the road clear so you would have to point the finger at them. On the other hand he may be self employed so surplies his own tools.
On the other hand, his position on the road, given there is no hard shoulder and facing traffic, the risk is at a minimum.

Look at the last two posts. First you are moaning the road has a bit of muck on it by getting a quick snap before the sweeper has chance to clean it. Then straight after you are going on about the sweeper driver for being too thorough in his job.

Make your mind up.

For those with the memory of a goldfish, I am nothing to do with MWH.

More nonsense and wild conjecture, the only people who are present in the morning who receive payment are those in receipt of retirement pension.
You will be threatening to report them to the P C police next.
There are no drones or hangers on present, they are all in bed at that time of the morning recovering from excess alcohol or a drug overdose.

If you suffer with nose trouble why don't you check if there are any bandit lorry drivers working whilst in receipt of state benefit?

The site planning condition states the waste vehicles must be clean before they leave site, so there should be no requirement for the sweeper lorry or the birdman of Hafod fluttering around the roads like a pissed up ostrich.

And if Liverpool council concentrated their efforts on a decent recycling scheme instead of pontificating about the City of Culture there would no longer be a need to dump their rubbish on our doorstep!

At Friday, August 17, 2007 1:48:00 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

It isn't just Liverpool tipping in Hafod but Wrexham are no better. I have just seen a WCBC tipper going to Pen Y Bont with a load of green waste which could have been composted. It came from the parks department and was not contaminated with anything.

And the driver is an a..ehole.

At Friday, August 17, 2007 5:39:00 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Wrong again Anonymous, the reason that particular green waste (from grass verges) is being deposited at Hafod is because it is contaminated with dog excrement.

The culprits are the dog owners who allow the fouling and the same sort of people who support and promote landfill, stupid and ignorant in common with some of the councillors and politicians that represent us all.

At Friday, August 17, 2007 6:04:00 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Very interesting but how do the dogs get up the trees. I never said Hafod either. Stop talking dog excrement.

Going back to the subject for a minute. Is what the sweeper driver is doing so different from two blokes in a transit parked half a mile away picking up litter with a grabbing stick and bin bag?

It's good enough for Highways.

It was nice to see VOSA out patrolling yesterday. I didn't get pulled myself but it wouldn't worry me if I had been. I have not heard of any vehicles using Hafod being or doing anything illegal but I didn't expect to.

VOSA are very interested in Hafod, trust me!

At Sunday, August 19, 2007 5:12:00 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

They probably are with all the bogus reports you have made but there is not much point them wasting time and valuable resorces chasing companies with strict policies on vehicle and driver checks. These days you need to carry a small office with you and when the paper work is handed in it is checked, then checked again and then sent an indipendant firm to be checked again. As for the vehicles, I won't take an unsafe veicle out and don't know anybody who is daft enough to do so.
That is why it was good to see VOSA about so that cowboy outfits are kept off the road because all they do is undercut proper operators and drive the rates down.

At Sunday, August 19, 2007 10:25:00 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

All vehicles using Hafod are A1? You're having a laugh! Have you seen the blog posted on Friday 6th July entitled 'Spot the Difference'.

IF this particular vehicle (which incidentally even Rob Allan said was (and I quote) 'a bloody disgrace that should never have been put on the road in MWHs name!')was in such an excellent condition why was there need for such a makeover the very same morning it was reported to VOSA and the Police?

Strange coincidence don't you think!

But you know and we know you will go out in whatever (and whenever and to wherever) you are told - since when did YOU become a decision maker?

Understand and understand clearly that you and the majority of employed people today will do exactly as you are requested to do regardless of the nature of the work involved.
The reason for this is simple, they are in so much debt that they are terrified in case they lose their job and their precious material goods.
So do not delude yourself any further the facts speak for themselves.

I am not talking through my posterior for it is a fact that you and the others employed, or working for M W H would be given your marching orders if you refused to work overtime.
The question is do you work it because you are afraid of saying no or is it because you can not manage on a flat five day week.
Don't say it is to earn some extra money because other people have said that you are all earning £300.00 plus in which case it is nothing more than greed, or is it after all fear of losing your domestic engineering job?

At Monday, August 20, 2007 9:33:00 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

No, your arse is still talking.

I don't work for MWH.

I am not worried about losing my job enough to take out a defective vehicle or refuse to work overtime. Though I have not worked over 48 hours in any week since the introduction of the RTD.

£300.00 per week? Now you are having a laugh. Who would get out of bed for that? Please tell me you mean net not gross because you are still in the early nineties if not.

It is immaterial whether it is
Pen y Bont or Hafod that you are referring to, the point is if people were more responsible then there would be no need to tip the green waste at a landfill site.
W C B C have been tipping at that site for some time, the difference is that they are at least making an effort to recycle and why abuse the driver?
Liverpool council are tipping outside their area that is what this campaign is about.
Just wake up!

At Tuesday, August 21, 2007 5:38:00 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Why abuse the driver? It is a fact that he is an arsehole.

Wrexham also tip out of their area.
eg. asbestos from the recycling parks goes to Skem as does all hazerdous waste.

You need to wake up. Wrexham, Denbeighshire, Flintshire, Powys, Shropshire, Cheshire etc are all using Hafod and Pen Y Bont. The Liverpool arguement is getting very tired now.

The proximaty of houseing is the same. Have a look at Arpley owned by WRG. They are building houses valued at £500,000 right next to the tip and they are selling.

To the person who is happy with £300 per week. You are totally nuts. Set yourself goles man. Try working a bit harder and get a job that will bring you of the poverty line.

Not much chance of that happening with bearded wonders like Edwards and Bailey of the Dirty Dozen in office.

It's 12 months since the Dirty Dozen let us down; one was more dirty than the others though.

Who was especially dirty?

Dull I must concede I am partial to a drop of Merlot or Shiraz, and I am not adverse to a drop of chardonnay on a hot summer’s day.
But I have not sampled a wine made out of “soar grapes”, perhaps if I had a glass I too would start imagining posts appearing then disappearing again!
Idiot!

Like I said before, I save my posts ready for when you delete.
It has gone very political on here with the moniority being very disrespectful of elected representatives who were voted in by the majority after Hafod was opened. Why is that then?

The only person who has been elected after Hafod opened is Kaz! I am very sorry if I have offended your wife Mr. Sinclair.

As for the other ramblings, well Dull it does you credit!

When they were voted in doesn't matter that that much but were they not given their jobs by the majority? Karen Sinclaire being voted back in can only mean that she was the best candidate in the view of the majority.
Which means that this protest is spured on by those were not good enough for the job. In other words, a bunch of sad losers.

Wrong again Anonymous, If you put Coco the Clown up as a L.P. candidate in Wrexham or Clwyd South the people would vote for him through loyalty to the former Labour Party.

What they fail to understand is that the party they trusted has been infiltrated by outside elemente and extreme right wing people as well as a crowd of local idiots who would join any party for the sake of a position of power.

These people have no principle or morality and are more interested in their bank balance and putting English before Welsh on station announcements and road signs than looking after the interests of the people who put them in their privileged positions.
The Hafod situation proves the point of their arrogant attitude.

The name is Sinclair not Sinclaire, Dull!

It is the Evening Kitty Litter Liner reporting so the truth is probably totally different but it goes to show how far out they were in the beginning with £10,000,000.
I see WRG are having problems with planning for the new recycling facillity now. There must be somebody else shouting 'not on my doorstep.'

That was inevitable, for if W.C.B.C are not falling out among themselves they are picking a fight with someone else.

It is their method of governing the area and we the people suffer through their gross incompetence.

It will cost the people of Wrexham millions in compensation, but on the bright side there will be a few free weeks in the villa now Isted and Kellett are out of favour.

No it need not cost the people of Wrexham millions Anonymous.
This is the time for them to stand up and be counted and demand that our ineffectual M.P's and their two A.M. puppets act to stop this nonsense once and for all.

What are we paying our taxes for just for them to get their pictures in the papers and claim credit for other peoples effort?

There is your problem again. It is not down to WCBC to make the law but to follow it. MWH must believe that an action by WCBC will cause them to restrict operations so they will not be able to get the return they expected. If that action is found to be flawed WCBC will have to pay compensation. MWH said this was going to happen and everybody knew it was coming.
It is obvious hafodblogger thinks that this to strike back at EU decision made by the commitee for having a look at petitions to see if it is worth the commitee for petitions to have a look to see if the petition is worth having a look at before deciding if somebody in Brussels wants a week in North Wales for a holiday.

What utter rubbish from anonymous, M.W.H. knew of the situation when they purchased the site, all this is about is to dig a bigger hole to extend the site capacity for greater profit.
As for the previous comment about ineffectual M.P's and A.M's, that is to be expected of them as their only interest is maintaining their own position and making as much money as possible.
Only the people can stop this greedy lot of incomers.

For crying out loud - can nobody see what this £5million claim is all about.

Just a few weeks before the Planning Committee might kick the clay removal into the long grass MWH give them something to sharpen their minds - bloody hell, they're already after us for £5m, we'd better give them this or they'll sue us for more.

Isted's behind it and that clown Aled Roberts will soon pop out of the Stwit to tell us how costly this will be for Wrexham just like he did last time. It's September 4th all over again!

(For the record the biggest expense Wrexham cannot afford is Cllr Roberts himself - on his watch we've had failed bids for city status, a failed housing stock transfer, failed theatre bid and a £22million overspend on the super schools - one of which has just failed its inspection! Well done Aled, you've reopened the Stwit!) -

At Thursday, September 06, 2007 9:32:00 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

And what has Mr Roberts got in common with Mr Lucas?
They are both solicitors along with many, many politicians who are in charge of the economy of this country.
Is it any wonder we are in a mess!

How does it feel to have like minded people on your side Dull?

Idiot, you underestimate our councillors I am sure, they will not fall for the pantomime Isted and MWH are going to perform in front of them again.
This time they will do what is right for the people of Wrexham. You have cried wolf once to often Rob, everyone with a brain can see you have invented this claim, and the “other claim being considered” in an attempt to scare the planning committee into allowing the removal of 350,000m3 of clay.
Do you really thing they will be frightened by your compensation threat again?
Rob we may be off the mountain but we are not off the very top go on Al show the pot bellied fool whose is boss!!

I don't think it is a threat as all reports say the claim has been made.

I've not seen this site before but have followed the story in the local papers. I've seen a few stories that the site has been broken into on repeated occasions by some of you 'peaceful protesters'. Maybe if the company who run the place didn't have to keep on replacing fence panels or repairing damage caused by your side they'd have more cash free to spend on stuff to address the issues at the site.

You don't help yourselves by being such a pain in the arse to both the company and the local authorities. It obviously isn't getting you anywhere so maybe you should find a different approach?

I've also been watching 'Dumped' on Channel 4 - I think we should all count our lucky stars that our site here in Johnstown is run better than the one on that programme! Then again maybe if you guys actually had some real problems to moan about the authorities might have a reason to take action, rather than just ignoring you every time you cry wolf.
