Alan Skip Hire cause traffic chaos at Hafod

Alan Skip Hire cause traffic chaos at Hafod

This was the scene outside Hafod landfill on Friday morning when an Alan Skip Hire driver decided to cause traffic chaos by parking on the B5426 and leaving his cab to hurl abuse at the peaceful protestors. These protesters consisted of both male and female OAP’s neither of which wanted to hear his abusive rants. MWH have put in for NEW planning permission to considerably increase traffic movements outside Hafod landfill. When the existing landfill traffic cause this much havoc not even the planning department of WCBC will grant them the permission. Will they?

Next time you need a skip you may choose to look a little further than your friendly local skip hire firm!

How about this,

Allegedly peaceful protest outside Hafod causes distraction to passing motorists.
The sad old pensioners with nothing better to do blow whistles and shout at drivers entering and leaving Hafod Landfill.
An ASH driver stopped the other day when he spotted a member of the group who had tried to force him off the A483 in an act that would be classed as attempted assault with a deadly weapon in America.
The protest managed to post a picture of this but the quality was crap.

It's hard to believe how much this blog has deteriorated into a narrow-minded slanging match between a tiny group of protesters and a few (or is it one) drivers.
The real enemy - Mersey councils, MWH et al - are laughing their socks off as the protesters manage to alienate the people who can stop this...

There is still a lot of blame put on Merseyside here but, as I have said in the past, Hafod was bought with permission obtained so if MWH flog it things will not change. It is a landfill with years ahaed of tipping ahead. If you could stop Merseysides waste there are plenty of others who would come in their place.
Even when recycling is at its best there is still 25% left. Zero waste is pure fantasy and I challenge anybody to prove me wrong.
Face it. You did your best but the fight is lost. The protest is a minor irritation and nothing more. Except a constant source of ammusement.

Back to the real point here. Do you flick the goats over to kiss them John?

Isn't that what Wrexham are asking the assembly for? I saw in the Evening Leader that they wanted to put in better rail links.
How would the dangerous drivers swerve at then?
And Hafod could take waste from much further away too.

What can you expect from illiterate pigs but grunts, they are to be pitied for being incapable of obtaining a better job than transporting rubbish for a council composed of idiots.

A good skip hire firm will ask you what types of waste you're disposing of in order that they can provide essentially the most suitable skips. The excellent news is that each one companies dealing in skip hire it need's to comply with a number of regulations so that you may be certain your waste is being dealt with correctly.

The stacking of loaded skips on top of each other on vehicles causes stability problems and is regarded by the industry and the Vehicle Operator Service Agency (VOSA) as bad practice. VOSA was an executive agency of the Department for Transport. As of April 2014 it has been replaced by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). If encountered on the highway these vehicles are likely to be subject to enforcement action by DVSA. Furthermore, because of stability and accessibility issues you should not stack loaded skips on top of each other in yards or waste transfer stations.
